Muay Thai / Dutch Kickboxing

Dutch Kickboxing is based on traditional Muay Thai from Thailand, mixed with old school Japanese Karate influences from the 80's. The resulting sport has a long and rich history in The Netherlands, and Dutch Striking is globally recognized as one of the premier striking styles. 

The Dutch style has been the foundation of proven winners (and a few Champions along the way) in the NZ fight circuits. 

Our training focuses on creating flow, using body mechanics that add speed and power, and endless combinations that create opportunities.

And we top it all of with decent, hard sparring sessions in the fight classes. (Dutch Drills, IYKYK)

No BS, hard work and a fighting style that is built on skill and your own personal physical ability.

Of course not everybody wants to fight, and you are not required to.  Training Muay Thai can be a great mental health booster by itself, it does miracles for your self-esteem and the weight management benefits are through the roof.

New to Muay Thai:

Not everybody fights, and that is absolutely ok!

Even fighters were total beginners once. 

We understand that starting Muay Thai can be very daunting.

Punching this, kicking that. 

All this talk about fighting.

Here's the deal: nobody walks in and gets to fight straight away.

Learning the basics, getting fit, smashing some body goals and getting your confidence up is a long process.

We will assist you in getting out of your comfort zone, build your confidence and smash your goals in a safety and secure manner. The whole team will help!
